Missions is what makes the game fun. Passing missions is a must if you want to progress to a higher level, because every
time you pass a mission your reputation grows higher. Once you’ve reached a certain amount of rating point you can
advance to a next level.
There are few types of missions first being compulsory missions. They provide a small but reliable income and a stabile
rating growth. Most of those missions simply include transporting cargo from point A to point B. The second type is not
obligatory missions made there just for the sake of a fast rating growth. You get a slightly more difficult task, where a certain
experience is needed. Those missions may not always be paid for, but they do provide high increase in your reputation. The
third type of missions are not essential either and are here mainly for making a profit. They usually involve illegal activities,
mainly transporting a cargo without having all the legal paperwork, towing stolen vehicles and illegal goods. Those missions
are the source of a large income, but there is a high risk of being arrested which results in a fine and a decline in rating.
As you advance through the game the missions become more difficult.
One of the features of the game is that there isn’t a set order which you have to follow when doing the jobs. For example,
you can pass the compulsory bit and get 100% of driving rating and then start making money for your business or you can
start making money first thing in the game, then expand your own business and only then start improving your rating. Of
course the best way is to combine both, e.g. improving your business while continuing working as a driver. This will help you
to have a decent amount of money half-way through the game.
It would be a good thing to mention than owing a certain type of business helps you to pass the game. For example, if you
get a petrol station then you can put fuel in your tank for free as well as all of your employees. The more stations the player
gets the more profitable it is to do the deliveries as the petrol costs is not something that affects your wallet. Same applies to
cafés, hotels, garages and workshops. You can get free food, overnight accommodation or free service and repairs
depending on what business you’ve got.

One of the crucial game elements is the “Newspaper” menu. This idea evolved from the fans’ idea of getting new jobs. Not
only you can get a job using a “Newspaper”, furthermore – you can buy and sell vehicles, get new non-compulsory missions
etc. Every area in the game has got it’s own “Newspaper” and the gamer is expected to have a quick look through the
papers in every town.
The “Newspaper” is available to a player when he has stopped and if he is in a close proximity of a certain place (e.g. town
or a city). The “Newspaper” is opened by pressing a button on a keyboard and has such sections as “For sale”, “Looking
for”, “Rent/hire”, “Looking for job”, “Vacancies”, “Other”.
1. “Looking for” – is the page where a list of people wishing to purchase a car is displayed. If you possess a vehicle that a
customer wants, you must get to the place stated in the ad where the deal will be sealed. You can only sell a car if you
already have another one. If you don’t then we suggest you to have a look at “Rent/hire” page to find a replacement suitable
for you.
2. Being sold a vehicle, you can get a new one straight away by looking through “For sale” page. Choose something you like
and if you have enough money you will get the vehicle in a matter of seconds. You can leave it on the parking lot, or you can
swap vehicles and leave your old one parked there until you need it again.
3. “Rent/hire” is the sections where you can rent a vehicle or a trailer. It is a very good choice for those wishing to go to
another town for a new job or a car. The prices are rather high, but sometimes it is better to spend a large sum to get an
even better payback. You can only hire a vehicle if your license is of type B and C; trailers – of E type.
4. “Looking for a job” – here you can employ people. Keep in mind that a employee lives in a certain area and it is unlikely
he will work at your place elsewhere. Also if you are employing a driver then he will need to come back home to his place
and if you want to fire him then you’ll need to drive down there too.
5. “Vacancies” – this is the place you want to look in if you are in a need for a new job. Usually you can find a certain
requirements there; if you satisfy them all – apply to the vacancy with no fear.
6. “Other” – here you can find all sorts of adverts. For example, some may publish a property for sale there or a list of
services (e.g. body work or car repairs).
