What is the Entrepreneur Society?
The Entrepreneur Society is a student-run campus organization for student entrepreneurs or
students exploring entrepreneurship. It is designed to help students transform their creative
ideas for a business into reality. The club provides members with
Resources to learn how to start a business
A forum to discuss business ideas
Mentors to help provide guidance, encouragement, and expertise
A process to help them start their own business
An opportunity to be involved with another member’s business start up
Educational seminars, speakers, competitions, workshops, etc.
What Does the Entrepreneur Society Do?
Holds club meetings approximately twice a month during the academic year
Hosts social events for networking with other student entrepreneurs and local business
owners and entrepreneurs
Holds educational sessions on topics such as how to start a business, raising capital,
writing business plans, etc.
Hosts guest speakers, typically local entrepreneurs
Directs students to valuable resources for starting and managing a business
Sponsors events to encourage student entrepreneurship, such as a business plan
contest.
How Do I Join
Come to a club meeting or social event, listed on the club website
Email the Club President to be placed on the club listserv

There are club dues of $15 per semester
