Criminal Record Check
All students in the Bachelor of Education Program require a Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable
Sector annually. OESC is NOT operating at this time.
Students completing one of the following placements should have their police check done in Sudbury in
early September:
-First year students
-Second year students, EDUC 0150 (First PPP)
-Third year students, EDUC 0250 (Second PPP)
-Fourth year students, EDUC 0350 (Third PPP) completing placement in Sudbury
-Initial Placement (May 2011) completing placement in Sudbury
-Professional Year Placements completing placement in Sudbury
Students completing any placement outside of greater Sudbury, are responsible for checking with the
Board/s you are being placed with, to determine if they have any alternative requirements.

* If your name or other information matches someone with a criminal record you may need to be
fingerprinted. It is essential that you apply as soon as you have a Sudbury address.
