1. Assessment Timeline Baldwin Two distinct academic assessment calendars were discussed X Baldwin
Proposed timelines and contrasted with the current one (reports due May 1st of
every year). SWOT analysis performed on proposed deadlines
of June 1st and September 1st. June 1st was favored slightly
over September 1st deadline. As full committee not present,
further discussion and a decision will be made at first meeting
for 2010-2011 academic year. Recommendation will then be
presented to President’s Cabinet.
2. Assessment Resources Baldwin Committee members asked to identify faculty and staff within X Baldwin
Internal their particular school that could serve as resources. Committee

3. Internal Peer Review Committee Brief mention made of need for committee members to X Baldwin
Members perform a peer review of random academic and educational Committee
support unit annual assessments. This peer review will occur Members
over the fall with the information then disseminated to the
respective department chair/head in an effort to enhance
assessment and resulting documentation of said activities.
