3.2 SCHEDULE – COMPANY CAPABILITY
The Tender must provide a brief company portfolio / statement of company capability which
outlines the following as a minimum:
Demonstrated relevant experience in landscape construction works for Local Government
or public sector clients.
Company organisational structure and capability to deliver landscape construction projects
for Marrickville Council.
Identify any formal business alliances or partnerships that your company exercises when
undertaking landscape construction works. Do not include companies or businesses for
subcontracting works unless they are utilised exclusively.

3.3 SCHEDULE – INSURANCES
The Tenderer shall provide certificates of currency for Public Liability and Workers Compensation
insurance.
All Contractors wishing to be considered for the Select Landscape Contractor List must have
$10million Public Liability insurance.

The Tenderer must provide details of a minimum of three (3) recent projects completed by the
Tenderer which demonstrate experience in projects for Local Government. Referee contact details

preservation and improvement, including the target of a 66% reduction in waste to landfill by the
year 2014. In the interest of achieving such goals, MARRICKVILLE COUNCIL is encouraging

Marrickville Council aims to ensure honesty, integrity, fairness, consistency and value for money in
all aspects of the procurement process. A key element in achieving these goals is through

3.9 SCHEDULE - COUNCIL'S SELECTIVE PURCHASING POLICY DECLARATION
Council’s Selective Purchasing Policy – Restrictions Relating to
Persons Doing or Willing to Do, Business in, or with, Myanmar.
Council has adopted a policy in recognition of its role in promoting universal respect for human
rights and fundamental freedoms, and the protection of democratic principles, which seeks to
damage the economic viability of the military regime in Myanmar with a view to ending injustice and
violations of human rights in Myanmar.
The Policy provides that Council will not purchase goods or services provided by those who
conduct a business in, or with, Myanmar, or have investments in Myanmar, or who are willing to do
so, except if:
purchases from the person do not exceed $10,000 in any financial year;
a financial loss to Council would result, equal to 5% of the contract’s value or $5,000,
