The Story of Spinoff’s
Technology
• What is technology?
• Each table has a dry erase board,
marker and eraser. Person #1 is in
charge of them.
• Ask your teammates! Going round
robin style give each person a chance
to come up with an answer. Use the
dry erase boards to show your answer
to the class when I call time.
Technology
• Technology: the science of the
application of knowledge to practical
purposes. i.e. applied science
• Everything we have, from pencils to
your shoes, is the result of applying
science to solve everyday problems.
• These applications are better known
as inventions.
Space Technology
• Many different technologies have
been developed for Astronauts.
• We are going to review some of these
in preparation of our commercials.
• We will be taking notes over these
during our actual commercials, but
feel free to jot down a list of them
now.
