White marble is a kind of marble, and has been just discovered in Donggou Village, Guizhou
Town, Gaizhou City in Sept. 2000. The white marble has the characters such as delicate, fine
and close texture and pure white, with 4°hardness and fits for curving. The deposit in Gaizhou
City is nearly 1million m3.

Total Investment Estimated: 3 million USD
Local Contribution: 0.5 million USD.

4. Market Prediction:
White marble is in short supply especially as one of the materials of the 2008 Olympic
Construction. The project is potential.
5. Contents of Construction and Scale:
The project is to establish a white marble processing plant with the annual production 15,000
m3.
6. Economic Analysis:
It is estimated that once put into operation, the annual sales income will be 10 million RMB,
and annual profit will be 20 million RMB;
Payback period: 1 year.
7. Current Status of the Project:
Local Party has imported a set of cutting machine worthy of 30 million RMB, and has
constructed simple-equipped workshop 2000 sq.m., and has a certain of production ability.
