Concert Series Application
The Concert Series at the Moonah Arts Centre is held approximately every second Friday
night usually commencing in April for a series of around twelve to fourteen concerts. Entry is
by gold coin donation. Concerts commence at 7.30pm and run for approximately one hour.
Performers are paid a non negotiable fee of $300.00 ex GST (whether groups or solo).
The Concert Series aims to offer a diversity of musical genres that cover a range of
community and audience interests. All applications will be assessed with this criterion as a
priority.
The Moonah Arts Centre has four collapsible staging units measuring approximately 2400mm
x 1200mm x 300mm, a comprehensive Mackie PA System with 12 channel mixer, eight stage
lights, one upright older piano and choir risers for approximately 30 people. We provide a
sound technician and larger mixing board if required. Concerts can be recorded but this must
be arranged between the performer and the Sound Technician and extra costs are the
responsibility of the performer. We have seating for up to 140 people. A seating plan is
available on request.

Ensure that all material supplied with your application is clearly labelled with your name and address, and any
technical information about what format the work can be listened or viewed in (quicktime, mediaplayer etc.). All
supporting material will be returned after the selection process is completed.
Applications may be sent in hard copy or as email attachments in Microsoft Word or PDF format. All
attachments must be saved in a file format suitable for PC. Application forms in Word Format may be
downloaded from the Moonah Arts Centre website.
Closing date: The closing date for applications by hand delivery, mail or email is 5pm, Friday 30
September 2011. Notification will be made by October / November 2011.
