The Oklahoma City Thunder will try and forget about their awful shooting in Game 3 and even the
Western Conference finals on Monday night as they host the Dallas Mavericks in Game 4. The
Thunder started very poorly on Saturday in Game 3 and although they made a late run, they
couldn’t get the win and lost 93-87. Oklahoma City now faces what is almost a must-win game
on Monday night.

The Dallas Mavericks did win Game 3 on Saturday night to take a 2-1 series lead but it was not
pretty. Dirk Nowitzki had one of his worst shooting games for the Mavericks but the difference
was the horrible start that Oklahoma City got off to and their pathetic 3-point shooting. The
Thunder were just 1 for 17 from long range in Game 3. The Mavericks almost let a 23-point lead
slip away before holding on for the six point win. Dallas did get the win though and now the
pressure is squarely on the Thunder in Game 4.
If the Thunder are to win on Monday they have to shoot the ball better. They were just 36.5
percent from the field and they were 0 for 16 from 3-point range until Russell Westbrook threw
one up late that finally went in. Kevin Durant was 0 for 8 from long range. The Dallas defense
was good but Oklahoma City missed a lot of open shots and inexplicably continued to shoot from
the outside. The Thunder have to get a much better betting game from Durant if they are to even
this series on Monday night.
