Steps Directions
Install the software: Go to the website
indicated on the left and
click on “Download
now”

Choose “Run”

install Skype.

Set up an account: for setting up an account.
Check your privacy
settings under your
account. “people in my
Contact list only” will
restrict the number of
people who will be able
to contact you.

Find contacts: Search for new contacts:
Choose “New.” Choose
“New Contact”
Type in the name of the
person you want to find,
then choose “Find”
Choose the person you
wish to contact then
choose “Add contact”

Type in a message.
Choose “Send.” A
message will be sent to
the person you listed
requesting that they be
added to your contact
list.
Choose the name of the
Contact someone: person you wish to
contact. If they are
online, the checkmark
will be green to the left
of their name. Next,
choose “Video call”
While the call is trying
to connect, you will see
yourself in the bottom
left corner. The person
you are contacting will
appear in the center
picture screen.
When you are finished,
choose the red telephone
icon at the bottom of the
screen. You can also
adjust the volume at the
bottom of the screen.
