LAWS IT SERVICE DELIVERY
Consumables:
- replacement print cartridges, discs and flash drives are available from Lisa Penfolds office.
If she is not in the office, Keith Shore, Jacqueline Bennett or security have a key.
Staff on WTS:
Call the Helpdesk on 37779 for the following issues:
- Problems logging into WTS
- Old password issue (provided you have registered for the User Authentication System as
previously recommended – see http://www.ucl.ac.uk/is/helpdesk/authenticate)
- Any software issues once you have logged into WTS, such as email issues, word, diary,
your IS profile, any access issues for documents/files stored on the managed system drives
(N, R, S drives), accessing cd roms or music
- Installation of printers
- Network printer issues (these printers are named laws_ps)
Issues you can resolve yourself:
- request quota increase up to 500mb

Contact Lisa for:
- Monitor problems, i.e. lack of power, no connection to computer
- Computer not starting up, i.e. problems with power supply
- Local printer physical difficulties, i.e. printer not picking up paper correctly
- Keyboard or mouse problems
- Requesting quota increases over 500mb
- Password reset (can be done by Lisa Penfold, Keith Shore or Isla Stewart – both are
computer reps for the department and will phone IS User Services on your behalf)
