CLARK COLLEGE AT WSU VANCOUVER (CCW)
To receive important information from Clark College, please activate
your Clark College Student E-mail account.
STUDENT E-MAIL ACCOUNT: Clark College has adopted student email as an official
communication channel. Please visit www.clark.edu; click on Quick Links; then click on
E-mail (for students) to log-in or set up your student email account. A student email account is
required to access online services, including Web Registration.
PARKING: PLEASE PAY TO PARK PRIOR TO CLASS.
WSU Vancouver uses a system of required parking permits or direct parking space payment for
all persons parking on the campus between 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, Monday – Friday, year round.
Parking permits are available for purchase at the WSU Vancouver Office of Parking Services in
the Physical Plant Building, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and online. Permits are not
valid at meters, timed visitor or reserved spaces.
A Clark College at WSU Vancouver Quarter permit ($55 + tax) is available for purchase at
WSUV Parking Services and online.

If used in conjunction with a valid disability placard or license plate, daily scratch permits and
blue daily pay lot receipts will be honored in any disability parking space on the WSU Vancouver
campus as a valid form of daily payment for parking. Annual and semester University parking
permits for persons with disability are available at the gray zone rate.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO WSU VANCOUVER:
Clark College students are eligible for a C-Tran pass (called BackPass) which can be
purchased at the Clark College Bookstore on the main campus. For detailed information,

C-TRAN ROUTE #19: The Salmon Creek #19 bus runs from the 99th Street Transit Center to
the Salmon Creek Park & Ride on its way to WSU Vancouver. The #19 bus leaves WSU
Vancouver, with stops at the Vancouver Clinic and Legacy Hospital Salmon Creek, southbound
to 99th Street. The bus is an approximate 20-minute loop. Please visit www.c-tran.com, or call
C-Tran at 360-695-0123 for current fare/route information. C-Van service is available at a
reduced rate to students with disability (360-695-8918).
BOOKSTORE: All textbooks and supplies for Clark College classes offered at CCW are
available for purchase at the Clark College Bookstore on the main campus, located in Gaiser
Hall, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way (360) 992-2149. For store hours, directions, or to order online
for home delivery, please visit www.clarkbookstore.com. Books and information for the current
or upcoming quarter become available in-store and online the week of finals each quarter.
Dates and pertinent information will be posted on the bookstore web site when registration
begins. A Clark College Bookstore kiosk is located on the lower level of CCW.
The WSU Vancouver Bookstore, the Bookie, located on the lower level of the WSUV Student
Services Center, carries general school supplies and merchandise. Please visit

COMPUTER LABS: Clark College students at WSU Vancouver will use the computer labs in
CCW 102, 104, and 202. CCW 102 is used for Engineering and CADD classes and CCW 104
is used for English Comp classes. CCW 202 is an open lab (second floor), open 8:00 am –
5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, with lab assistants available. Summer hours vary.
LIBRARY SERVICES: All Clark College students need a Clark ID card to check-out or order
library materials from the WSU Vancouver Library. Clark students can search WSU databases
inside the WSU Vancouver Library. Please visit http://library.vancouver.wsu.edu for current
hours. Students may also request items from the Clark College Library collection and online at
http://library.clark.edu. Cannell Library (360) 992-2504.
Cannell Library offers 24/7 Chat with a Librarian! 24/7 is available from the library’s website
http://library.clark.edu. For assistance with online courses, please contact the eLearning office

WRITING CENTER: WSU Vancouver has a writing center in the WSUV Library, room 203.
Students may meet with a writing consultant for writing assistance. For information about the

COPYING: A coin-operated copier is located on the lower level of CCW. Copies are .05 cents
ATM MACHINES: A Higher One ATM is located across from the Student Information Center in
the first floor lobby for assistance with banking and Financial Aid services.
FOOD SERVICE: Vending machines are available on the lower level. WSU Vancouver has a
cafeteria located in the Dengerink Administration Building. Please visit
www.vancouver.wsu.edu/adm/fo/Dining.htm for current hours of all WSU Vancouver dining
locations. The WSU Vancouver bookstore, the Bookie, carries light snacks, coffee and
CLASS CANCELLATION OR LATE START: In the event of inclement weather or campus
emergency, which may result in class cancellation, late start or closure; Clark College
classes at WSU Vancouver (CCW) will follow WSU Vancouver policies. If WSU
Vancouver cancels their classes, announces a late start or closure; the same will apply

COURTESY PHONE: A courtesy phone is located on the north wall across from the Student
Information Center in the first floor lobby. It can be used for short local calls (does not include
Portland, OR), Clark College main campus extensions, designated WSUV phone numbers for
assistance and 911.
EMERGENCY CONTACTS: If someone needs to contact you for an emergency, please have
them call WSU Vancouver Police & Public Safety at (360) 546-9001.
All student scheduling information is strictly protected by FERPA.
PERSONAL SAFETY: Don’t walk alone in the dark! Use the campus Safety Escort Program.
WSU Vancouver Public Safety provides this free service to the campus community. For

EMERGENCY ON CAMPUS: WSU Vancouver has emergency column phones located in the
parking lots and open areas throughout campus. The phones have a glowing blue light that
flashes when activated. This phone calls 911 directly.
When to call 911: Feel threatened, fire, medical emergency.
When to call WSU Vancouver Police & Public Safety: Report a crime, safety escort; auto dead
battery, auto lock-out, auto jump service. Please visit www.vancouver.wsu.edu/police for other
WSU Vancouver Public Safety services. The WSU Vancouver Police & Public Safety office is
located in the Dengerink Administration Building, VADM 160 (360) 546-9001.
FIRE/EMERGENCY EVACUATION PROCEDURE: Evacuate building immediately at the
nearest exit. Do not use the elevator, or re-enter the building until notified. Proceed to
the north gray parking lot, grassy area (Mt. St. Helen’s side of the building). Do not stand
in the parking lots or near curbs that may hinder emergency vehicles and personnel. The
CCW evacuation site map is posted in all classrooms. An emergency procedure Quick
Reference Sheet is also posted in all classrooms.
STUDENT SERVICES: The CCW Student Information Center is located in the first floor lobby.
The desk is open 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday unless otherwise noted. Common forms
are available in the literature rack on the wall across from the Center.

HEALTH SERVICES: Clark College students at WSU Vancouver will continue to use the
counseling and health services offered at the Clark College main campus. The Counseling &

SMOKING POLICY: Smoking is prohibited less than 25 feet from any CCW entrance or exit.
LOST & FOUND PROCEDURE: Please bring found items to the CCW Student Information
Center. Items will be given to WSU Vancouver Police & Public Safety and stored for 60 days at
the Parking Services office, Physical Plant Building. If the Student Information Center is closed,
please take the item directly to WSU Vancouver Parking Services, open Monday - Friday,
8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Please claim lost items at the Parking Services office, (360) 546-9009.
STUDENT LIFE: For information, please contact the Student Life & Multicultural Student Affairs

the WSUV Fitness Center (Library Building, LL) with Clark photo ID, and participate in student
activities sponsored through WSUV. The WSUV Office of Student Involvement is located in the
