Our Mission
BakitWhy.com is an online community and content provider that serves to
to consolidate and represent the multi-generational and diverse Filipino
American community through Internet resources and media.
Our Story
In April 2008, a group of diverse Internet professionals and community leaders
created BakitWhy.com to provide an online outlet for the Pilipino American
lifestyle. Drawing from years of experience leading Pilipino American
organizations, the BakitWhy.com team built a rapidly growing online community
based on effective grassroots organizing, social media expertise, innovative
business integration practices, and an in-depth understanding of the offline and
online audience.
Over the span of several months, BakitWhy.com has become the top online
destination for and about the Pilipino American lifestyle. BakitWhy.com has
served as a major media partner for large community events such as the
Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture, official media for shows such as MTV’s
America’s Best Dance Crew, and a model for the academic study of online
communities at prestigious institutions such as the University of Southern
California.

2. Pricing depends on the number of options chosen and the
sponsorship time period.
3. Sponsorships are intended for single-period runs. Packages
for week, multiple weeks, or one month are available.
4. Volume discounts or bonus impressions are available for
large-scale or multi-option campaigns--email

5. Preemptive (sponsorships over a month in advance) ads will
be given a discount to rates, however you may be bumped by
higher paying advertisers.
6. Bakitwhy.com has the right to approve or disapprove all
creatives prior to launch. Please contact BakitWhy.com at least 72
hours prior to start of campaign.
