Moodle Import

Login to Moodle at http://go.woodbury.edu.
Click on your class.
Click on the Import link under the administration box on the left-hand side of the screen.
Choose the course containing the material you wish to import using the
field, and click .
You can choose what to import.
o Option 1: Entire Course. If you want to import everything, scroll to the bottom and click Continue.
o Option 2: Specific Items. To import a selection,
First unselect everything by clicking None in the “Include All/None” links at the top of the page.
Second, click the check boxes next to the items you want.
Third, scroll to the bottom and change “Course Files” and “Site Files used in this course” to No.
Fourth, click Continue at the bottom of the screen.
You will now be shown a number of importing screens.
o Click on the Continue button on the bottom of each page to progress.
o At one point (depending on the size of the import), you may be shown a hyperlinked “Continue” text (not
a button). Moodle will provide a note to not click this link. Just be patient for a minute and Moodle will
click it for you.
If you are importing a number of large files, this process may make take several minutes. Please be patient.
If your course size is too big (too many files) Moodle may not be able to process the import. Please contact Henry
