Part II – Expo Acadie
Expo Acadie will include a trade conference gathering all Canadian and American
participants for matchmaking meetings, workshops and on-site visits to companies.

10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. One-on-one business meetings (matchmaking)
Noon Lunch with presentations on business ties between l’Acadie of
the North and l’Acadie of the South
2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Continuation of one-on-one business meetings (matchmaking)
2 p.m. Cultural tourism
Workshops: Marketing and promotion of cultural and craft

Noon Official luncheon of Lafayette City and the International Center
“International Achievement Award Luncheon”
Each year, approximately 200 recognized and respected members of the
Lafayette community gather to give out an award to and honour a person who
has greatly contributed to the international reputation of Lafayette. The last
recipients were Zachary Richard, musician; Warren Perrin, president of
CODOFIL; Matt Stuller, owner of a major industrial jewellery store; Si Brown,
owner of a large food products company, etc.
Part III – Place de l’Acadie – Festival International de Louisiane
Saturday, April 29
7 a.m. – 11 a.m. Set-up at Place de l'Acadie (large tent) on Jefferson Street, in
downtown Lafayette
11 a.m. Inauguration of the Place de l'Acadie
Noon Public opening of the Place de l’Acadie
1 p.m. – 7 p.m. Festival International de Louisiane - Acadian music, food, wine and
other beverages, crafts, cultural products, etc.
Public: Approx. 100,000 people
Sunday, April 30
11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Place de l’Acadie – Activities continue at the Festival International
de Louisiane
