Hitachi Canadian Industries Ltd. (HCI) is a major supplier of custom welding, machining,
assembly, and field services to the energy industry in Canada and around the world. We are
currently seeking to fill 3 positions of Blaster and/or Painter. The successful candidate will join
our highly skilled team at our manufacturing plant in Saskatoon.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a safe working environment
Operation of blasting equipment using a variety of blasting media or airless paint
equipment to apply coatings in accordance with customer requirements
Application of standard quality control procedures
Maintenance of blasting and/or painting equipment
Testing, repairs or assembly work as assigned
Movement of materials in blasting area
General housekeeping of blasting area
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Grade 12 education or equivalent
2 years experience in blasting or industrial painting
Crane and forklift tickets would be an asset
Ability to perform shift work
