Safe Harbor is a fully accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance.
Safe Harbor provides a safe and friendly place for alleged victims of child abuse of all forms to talk
about what has happened to them. Safe Harbor also coordinates mental health services for children
and families that come to the organization.
Safe Harbor is located in Madison, WI, the capital of the state of Wisconsin, and is home to the
University of Wisconsin – Madison. Madison has a population of approximately 233,000, making it
the second largest city in the state. Madison was voted the best place to live by Money Magazine in
l996, and has ranked near the top of this list in subsequent years.
Safe Harbor has a vacancy for the Executive Director position. The selected applicant must possess a
Master’s Degree in Social Work or other related advanced level of education with five or more years
of clinical and managerial experience in related areas. While clinical or direct experience is a must,
child advocacy or non-profit experience is preferred. In addition, fundraising and grant writing skills

exceed one page and be double spaced.
1) Describe your supervisory experience and management style. Please include any
experience working collaboratively as a supervisor and representative of your agency or
organization.
2) Provide a paragraph outlining your fundraising and grant writing experience.
3) Describe your clinical or direct service experience, to include populations served, length of
service and any non-profit or CAC experience.
4) Describe your experience working with other agencies or organizations, or with a
multidisciplinary team, to include volunteer experience.
