Biography
Fabrizio Savi is 48 and has been working in Telecom Italia since 1982. A graduate in
law, he is currently in charge of the relations with the Ministry of Communications in
the Directorate for public and economic affairs.
Following his experiences of Head of international regulatory affairs and of Telecom
Italia representative office in Bruxelles from 1995 to 2000, he contributed to the
implementation of the 1999 European regulatory package in the Italian legislation.
Currently, he is chairman of the ITU-D SG1 Project Group on question 10-1/1
“Impact of the convergence of telecommunications, broadcasting and information
technologies”.
