Further Steps
Group met almost every two months over 2004 – 2005. ITU-T Study Group 13 “Next
Generation Networks” became parent group of FGNGN (per decisions of World
Telecommunication Standardization Assembly 2004).
Its main output is NGN Release 1. Group came to close on 18 November 2005.
Results and remaining works as well as complete Release 1 is being transferred to
relevant Study Groups (SGs 11, 12, 13 and 19) through SG 13.
