In today’s high-tech world of computers and television,
reading books is still a pleasurable and exciting way to
expand your mind.

Books can take you where you want to go.
Whether you want to travel to foreign countries or outer space,
both fiction and non-fiction can open these worlds to the reader.

Books are portable companions.
Books can make a long trip seem shorter, a hectic commute
sane, and a free evening seem full.

Books bridge generations.
From Shakespeare to Little Women, classic books can be
enjoyed and discussed by people of all ages. Reading to
children is an intimate way to open the lines of communication.

Books can change the world.
Some of the most revolutionary ideas were first written in books.
Why not learn how you can change the world around you?

It does not matter if you are old or young or if you enjoy fiction or non-
fiction, why not head to the corner store or local library and pick up a book?
It’s food for the mind.
