Internships are not guaranteed. Internships are granted based upon instructor approval

determined by class work, competence of material, participation, promptness and

attendance, behavior and professional conduct, etc. Any behavior deemed less than

professional during class, or internship will result in Orange-Ulster BOCES not recom-

mending you for the next step toward completion of the program. In some cases, you

will not be allowed to reenter the program until you complete job-readiness training

and demonstrate mastery in professional conduct.

In many cases, students will be responsible for locating their own internship site. Stu-

dents must also understand that travel outside of the local area may be required and the

student is responsible for their own transportation.
