DLMS Protocol DLMS (Device Language Message Specification)is used in meters and mainly in energy meters to read actual and historical data. The reference standard is IEC
62056. It is based on services which let to read objects, named OBIS, which contain functional values as defined by standard profile.
Marcom has developed a DLMS OPC Servere which reads data inside meter with DLMS protocol and it gives them to control system and SCADA with OPC Client interface.
The main features of DLMS OPC Server are:
Link to more energy meters by RS232,RS485 interface or alternatively by optical probes
Scale of variables inside OPC configuration
Suited for WIN NT 4.0, WIN 2000, WIN 2003, WIN XP e WIN VISTA, WIN 7 (32 bit and 64 bit)
Import/Export of created configuration
Compliant to OPC Data Access 2.04
Analysy and logging network traffic (performance analysis)
Comunication Diagnostic at OPC variables level
It can be executed as Windows service for PC without GUI.
