Just as a quick reminder, the three competitions that we will be performing at this year are as
follows. Please note payment due dates as we need to make sure our entry fees are in on time to
avoid late fees and make any payments out to Cynthia Bunger.

Broadway Dance Center Field Trip
We will be taking a field trip to Broadway Dance Center in NYC on Saturday, February 27th.
Classes that are normally held on Saturday will be held at the same time on Sunday, February 28th.
We will be taking an hour and a half jazz class and the policy of Broadway Dance Center is that drop in
students must be 13 years or up. If we pre-register our group, the class will cost $14 a student, so
please let Miss Jen know before February break if you would like to go; if not the class will cost $18.
We will also do some sight seeing as well; this promises to be a fun experience!!
Ice Skating Fundraiser
In order to help raise funds for competition fees and other expenses, we will be holding a
fundraiser at Veterans Memorial Skating Rink in West Hartford on Thursday, April 1st, from 5:45 – 6:45.
We will be receiving flyers from the skating rink, which students will hand out to their friends. On April
1st, each participant invited will pay the appropriate admission and skate rental fee and hand in his or
her flyer. All of the flyers will be tabulated and we will receive a percentage of the total amount
collected. The more participants we invite, the larger the percentage, so let’s make an effort to invite
as many people as possible. This will be a fun team building experience and everyone is encouraged
to attend!!
