					                      The Simple Plan of Salvation

To be saved is really very simple. The Bible, which is the absolute Truth from God,
makes it very clear what we must do to be saved.

The Bible says in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned. Everyone is a sinner or has broken
                                      God's law.

Because of that sin, there is a penalty. God is a holy and just God and because He is, He
must deal with the sin. Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death. This death is
eternal separation from God in a literal place called hell. Hell is a place of torment, pain
and eternal burning. It is the destination for all those who do not have an answer for their

But there is an answer. It is found in Jesus Christ. The Bible says that God commendeth
His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus went to the
cross to pay for our sins so we would not have to pay for them ourselves in hell.

That leaves one thing for us to do: Take the free gift that God has provided through His
Son! The Bible says to Repent and Believe the Gospel. This simply means to turn from
your sin and turn to Jesus, depending only on Him to save you.

Salvation is not joining a church, getting baptized or being good. Salvation is trusting
only the shed blood of Jesus Christ to cover your sins.

                                  Have you been saved?

If not, you can get saved right there where you are! Here is a simple prayer you can say to
God to let Him know what you believe in your heart.

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I have done many wrong things in my life. I know
You are a Holy God and because of my sin I deserve to go to Hell. But I believe that you
sent your Son Jesus Christ to die and be raised again for me. I now am repenting of my
sin. As I turn from my sin, I am turning to you and depending only on the blood of your
Son to save me. Thank you for this free gift.
