Lesson Title: My Favourite Color!

~Students will learn about what monochromatic means
~ The book Colors: a first art book / Lucy Micklethwait as a verbal and visual resource
~Students will understand that they can make a drawing with just one color.
Objective: Given colored construction paper, students will learn about colors and the ability to
create a drawing using just one color with q-tips and baby oil.
Assessment Criterion: Students will make a drawing using just the color of their paper.
Art Materials Necessary for the Lesson:
~Colored construction paper
~Q-tips and baby oil
