OFFICIAL UNIVERSITY BULLETIN BOARD POSTING REQUEST FORM – 2008-09
Recognized student organizations may have non-commercial announcements posted on official
university bulletin boards. All flyers/posters will remain on the official university boards through
the program date but in no case longer than 30 days. The Mail Services department posts 24 flyers
on the official boards (three of which are glass encased) on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Thirty-five flyers are mailed to various departments for posting.
STEP 1: Center for Student Leadership signs off on this form that your student group is approved.
STEP 2: Create one poster using the following criteria and take or mail to the Mail Services for
approval BEFORE making multiple copies:
a) Flyer/poster must state “Wheelchair Accessible – For Disability-Related Requests contact
(first name) at (phone number)” at the bottom of the flyer
b) Preferred size of flyer/poster is 8-1/2” x 11” (Maximum size: 11” x 17”)
c) Flyer/poster must clearly state student group name
d) Both “OFFICIAL UNIVERSITY POSTER” and the date that the flyer/poster can be
removed must be noted in the lower right-hand corner of the flyer/poster.
STEP 3: Make 63 copies of the flyer/poster after it is approved by Mail Services. They will post
58 copies. The remaining few stay with them in the event a flyer needs to be replaced.
STEP 4: Make a $54.99 Cashiers Check or Money Order out to the UC Regents and take to Mail
Services with the 63 approved flyers. Questions? Call Emily Brown in Mail Services, 643-6245.
