Internship Position: Marketing and Advertising
The Marketing Intern will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing marketing
strategies, with the goal of increasing business development opportunities, market awareness, and
increasing revenue opportunities. Business development responsibilities will include creating new
partnerships, affiliate relationships, private label branding, or other strategic alliances. Finally, the intern
will plan events from the idea phase to execution of event.
Strategic Alliances:
Identify and participate in new partnership opportunities and co-lead in advancing these
relationships
Assist in the on-going development of current partnerships through marketing initiatives, new
membership development activities and co-branding initiatives
Advertising & Marketing:
Design new advertising program including layout, content and feel
Create new advertising mediums (member referral programs, Google key word search programs,
physical banners, partnership joint marketing programs etc.)
Help us develop our facebook, twitter and general online presence
Develop a new alumni program to keep us in touch with our 1100+ married
Devise new branding strategy with team
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is entering their junior or senior year and majoring in marketing, or public relations.
The person must be extroverted, self starter, able to juggle multiple projects, and have excellent computer
skills. We are willing to complete necessary paperwork and supervisory duties to obtain academic credits
with your undergraduate or graduate school.
