Skyscraper Challenge: Day 2
Pre Class:
- Divide class into three investigation teams (or 6 smaller investigation teams
2/structure)
- Assign each team a structure: Chicago, New York, Los Angeles
- Secure laptops for class period(s)
Challenge:
- “Monday mornings at Ace Forensic Engineering Lab are always busy. Today is no
exception. Your desk is swamped with letters, faxes, and e-mails, and your voicemail
box is full. There has been a skyscraper emergency over the weekend! It is your job
to investigate the crisis and figure out what to do…FAST!
You’ll need to investigate the skyscraper in your major city to gather more
information about your structure and the crisis situation.”
