Richard’s life story typifies the spirit, and the potential,
of what the Ballymena™ can do for you. The son of
an Irish minister, Richard was born into humble
beginnings. Part of his father’s compensation often
arrived in the form of eggs and chickens dropped off by
members of the church. Wanting to create a better life for
his family, he moved them to a small town in Ontario when
Richard was 10 years old.
Since then, Richard has spent the last 30 years growing businesses and creating
opportunities for people. Richard’s deep-seated desire to give back has inspired
the creation of Ballymena™. What better way to create an opportunity for
individuals to become independent businesswomen than through the creation of a
