Presentation of Group Project
To provide students with an opportunity to develop their presentation and oral communication skills, a presentation session of the group project will be conducted on Saturday, 3 May 2003 during the lecture time. Each student group is required to prepare and make a short presentation of their group project in this course. The presentation will be assessed by the lecturers and it will constitute 10% of the course grade. All students are required to attend the lecture and they will be asked to evaluate the presentations too. Presentation Time: Number of Presenters: Visual Aids: Ten minutes for each student group (sharp) No limit (can be one or a few students) You are encouraged to use overhead projection (OHP) transparencies and/or PowerPoint slides to assist the presentation. Overhead transparencies should be prepared by the students themselves. A notebook PC will be set up on that day in the lecture room and it can be used for the presentation (students should bring the files on a floppy diskette or CD or portable harddisk). Students may use their own notebook PC for the presentation but they should check carefully the technical issues with connecting the computer in the lecture room.
