You are to select a key quotation about your given character from your given Act in Othello and build a visual
image around the quotation. For example, a key line in Julius Caesar for Brutus is his proclamation, “For let
the gods so speed me, as I love the name of honor more than I fear death” (3.2.116-118). Brutus, throughout the
play, proclaims his great devotion to the common Roman whom he fears Caesar has forgotten. Once you have
selected a quotation or line, you are to type it somewhere on an 81/2x11 piece of paper and layer pictures which
represent that line and the character who says the line. Be as creative as you can and keep it aesthetically
pleasing (there should be no blank space on your paper). You can use magazine clippings, internet pictures or
your own artwork. You will then be presenting your collage to the class (one minute mosaic master
presentation) on your given day. Dates will be given in class.
