Chiang Mai – Lamphun – Lampang – Sukhothai - Prae - Nan
5 days 4 nights
Day 1. Chiang Mai – Lamphun - Lampang
08.00 From Chiang Mai, we drive along a historical road shaded by giant gum trees from
Chiang Mai to Lamphun. Visit Wat Pratart Hariphunchai the oldest temple in the
heart of Lamphun before 1 hour driving to the elephant conservation center in
Lampang. We will watch elephant training & working there for 1 hour, walk
around to visit elephant hospital with many injured elephants, then go to the old
market at Tungkwian village where to learn & see typical food & vegetables. After
lunch, visit a Burmese temple at Wat Chedi Sao which contains 20 white pagodas
and Wat Pongsanuk the only temple awarded by Unesco for its artificial design in
Lampang.

Day 2. Lampang – Sukhothai
09.00 After breakfast, we drive south to Koh Kah district to visit the wooden temple
called Wat Pratart Lampang Luang before driving 2 hours to visit historical park
in Si Satchanalai and Sukhothai which are certified as world heritage. You can
take a sight-seeing walk or biking around to observe ruins & temples of the first
kingdom of Thais settled 700 years ago.

Day 3. Prae - Nan
09.00 From Sukhothai, we start 2 hour drive through plains and curves to Prae Province.
We can stop on the way at local market,coffee shops, wood- carving village in
Den Chai, visit the Ghost Land with its natural clay pillars. After lunch in Prae, we
will enjoy a 1 hour driving through fascinating views & mountains to Nan
province. Visit the most revered temple in Nan called Wat Pratart Chae Hang
located on the hill before check in the hotel in the heart of Nan.
16.00 Stay overnight in Nan Hotel or similar.

Day 4. Nan – Chiang Mai
09.30 After breakfast, we will take a sight-seeing walk to visit historical sites around the
peaceful city of Nan started with Nan Museum, Wat Pumin, Wat Chang Kom and
Nan River. Then take 1.5 hour drive to visit the largest reclining Buddha in Wat
Pratart Suton Mongkon Kiri on the way to Chiang Mai.
17.00 Check in Raming Hotel or similar in the heart of Chiang Mai.

Day 5. Free day - Chiang Mai Airport
