                                             Annual Profile Report: General Information

             Organization of Report
The Annual Profile Report provides summary student, course and faculty data at the School and Program level.
Included in this report is a compilation of data from other IR publications such as the Fact Book, Enrollment Profiles,
and Degrees Conferred Report, as well as other information that is not routinely reported.

There is a separate tab for each Program Area as well as one for the School level summary. The table format and
content will vary for each program area based on the associated degree program(s) and rubric(s). Note that a
program area with no associated degree will not have any student data. A program area with no associated rubric
will not have any course or faculty data.

             Notes
            1. Student satisfaction survey results are taken from the Graduating Student Survey which is administered each
semester with the Application to Graduate. Responses are coded on a 5 point scale where -2=strongly disagree,
            -1= disagree, 0=neutral, 1=agree, 2=strongly agree.
            2. Instructional faculty excludes tenured faculty with administrative appointments (e.g., Associate Deans, Deans,
Associate Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents and President).
            3. Full-time/Part-time Instructional status is based on a faculty member's rank and percentage of instructional
appointment (as determined by how the position is budgeted). Excluding Adjuncts, all faculty ranks with 100%
instructional appointment are considered to be Full-time Instructional. Adjuncts and all other faculty ranks with an
instructional appointment of less than 100% are considered to be Part-time Instructional. Graduate Teaching
Assistant are not included in either category.
            4. Faculty are assigned to program areas based on their primary assignment as listed on the School's faculty roster
and verified in the catalog. Faculty who are not listed on the School's roster or in the catalog are assigned to a
program area based on the majority of courses they taught. Adjunct faculty who taught for multiple programs are
reported with each program area, but are only reported once at the school level.
            5. Faculty data are not available for summer terms. Data on Graduate Teaching Assistants is not available at the
            program area level.
            6. Course inventory updates do not include description only changes.
