About Our Training
Bally’s technical training courses are designed and executed by our technical training specialists. Our
upcoming courses will be held at one of our Bally training facilities or will be conducted onsite. Contact
the training manager for course dates, times and locations.
Registration
Contact the Training Manager by phone at (702) 584-7488 or by e-mail at
TechnicalTraining@ballytech.com.
Training Retainer
A set number of training days can be pre-purchased and applied to any Bally technical catalog or
customer training class within 12 months from time of retainer purchase. This is ideal for organizations
that wish to allocate training funds at the beginning of their fiscal year.
Course Times and Attire
Courses times are based on your needs. Please discuss trainer availability with the training manager.
Attire is business casual for all courses held at a Bally training facility.
Travel Arrangements
Students attending a Bally training class at a Bally training facility are responsible for making their
own travel arrangements. A list of recommended accommodations can be found on the Travel
Information pages in this catalog.

Bally Technologies will bill for any non-refundable charges incurred should a customer cancel scheduled
services.
Custom Training
Bally can customize courses and training methods to meet your specific needs. You may choose to
hold courses at your property or at a Bally training facility. To discuss custom training course possibili-
ties, please contact the training manager or email TechnicalTraining@ballytech.com with your training
requests.
You agree to pay all associated travel and lodging fees for a Bally Instructor who provides training at
your site. You also elect to provide the necessary training equipment and setup associated with the
training. Additional setup and delivery fees may apply.

Become proficient on all things ALPHA through the completion of this course, which involves class-
room time relating to the desired ALPHA product and an exam. Upon successful completion of this
exam, the student will become a certified expert on the Bally ALPHA Game Platform product and
the technology needed to successfully operate it. This course will involve hands-on training. (Six

Bally raises the bar of the gaming industry standard once again with the introduction of the
Integrated Microprocessor Unit. Students will be able to recognize the major differences
between the ETX style MPU and the iMPU. Students will learn about additional features available
on the iMPU. This course may include hands-on training. (One-hour class)

In addition to the material covered in the Introduction to iMPU Technology course, students will
also learn the concepts of microprocessor circuitry, power supply testing, removal, and replace-
ment, IC chip identification and purpose, storage device features, temperature monitoring circuit,
RAM upgrades, and more advanced features of the iMPU. This course may include hands-on

Become an expert on Bally’s ALPHA Game Platform-based machines. The prerequisite for this
class is equivalent knowledge or satisfactory completion of Introduction to Bally Electronics
(A-EDU-9500). This course will include both written exercises and hands-on training. (Eight-hour
class)

course will give you the knowledge on how to incorporate the media for the game theme on the
OSK 1000 media controller. You’ll also understand the math configuration that determines the
