                                       Teacher of the Year
Congratulations to Lindsey Freitag who teaches first grade here at NBE. She was recently voted by the
staff as NBE’s Teacher of the Year. She will be representing the school in the county’s Teacher of the Year
program. Mrs. Freitag is a dedicated teacher who goes above and beyond for NBE. Her positive attitude is
reflected in everything she does. Way to go Mrs. Freitag…we are proud of you!

Parents, we need your help. The front parking lot is for staff parking only. Many parents are avoiding the car loop
and dropping students off in this area or parking to walk students in the building. There are approximately 100 staff
members who need to park in the morning, often carrying heavy books and materials that need these parking spaces.
If you could please use the parking lot closest to New Berlin Road if you need to park. If you are dropping off, please
use the car loop. This is also safer for students; adults are not on post in the mornings until 7:45 a.m. to supervise
