                                             Mr. Rosen was appointed Chief Deputy (CD) by Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan.

                                             In his capacity as CD, the Deputy Attorney Generals who lead the four divisions (Civil,
                                             Criminal, Appeals and Child Support) of the Office reported directly to Mr. Rosen. He was
                                             involved in the most important and sensitive matters handled by the Office, including high pro-
                                             file matters such as the Blagojevich impeachment and the lawsuit regarding the necessity of a
                                        special election to replace Roland Burris as U.S. Senator. Mr. Rosen frequently interfaced with
                                        Chief Deputies from other states on important matters of common interest. He led the Office’s
Education                               efforts in a nationwide arbitration over a $1.2 billion dispute with the major tobacco companies.

                                        Mr. Rosen was Senior Partner and head of litigation in this primarily commercial litigation
                                        firm. He litigated complex commercial matters in both state and federal courts at the trial and
                                        appellate court levels, with the defense of commercial class action lawsuits in jurisdictions
                                        around the country as one focus. Several of these class actions were “bet the company” cases.
                                        Mr. Rosen also managed the business of the law firm.

                                        Mr. Rosen has tried to jury verdict approximately 20 lawsuits, as well as numerous bench trials.
                                        He has also argued approximately 15 appeals in state and federal appellate courts, including
                                        the Illinois Supreme Court. Mr. Rosen was directly involved in approximately 12 arbitrations
                                        and mediations involving significant commercial litigation matters.
