Description
This learning sequence supports a Year 3/4 unit of work based around the movie Finding Nemo. In this sequence
students will learn to organise their thinking using a concept-mapping computer program. Through a presentation
program, students will produce a written report on an animal or plant from a sea habitat. They will access file
templates and websites.
It is intended to further develop the students' information literacy skills, build and reinforce skills and processes for life
long learning. At the end of this learning students will be able to:
1. Organise ideas using Inspiration or Kidspiration
2. Locate and select information
3. Organise and present information in a report format using a presentation program
4. Assess own learning
