              1. Masters of Public Health (MPH)

              •    Designed to prepare individuals for applied
                   positions in federal, state, and industrial
                   organizations that require expertise in the broad
                   field of public health and in biostatistical design
                   and analysis methods.
              2. Master of Science (MS)

              •    Provides training in both the theory and methods
                   of biostatistics as applied to public health studies.
              •    For an MS student, excellent performance in
                   master’s-level courses required for admission into
                   a doctoral program

                Emphasizes professional training involving
                 the application of biostatistical methods to
                 public health-related research and practice

                 careers and for positions in federal, state,
                 and industrial organizations.
