Yearbook Information
Last updated: Mon 10-31-2011 10:30 am
Event Date: Mon 10-31-2011
All students and parents wishing to order a 2011-2012 yearbook:
We will be using the Jostens’ ordering website again this year for yearbook orders, Click here to
order.
This year we will be mailing an order form to each home. If you are interested in ordering a book for
your child fill out the order form and return it to Jostens or go online as order your book. You will
also receive information from Jostens about the payment options available to you in the mail.
Payment needs to be made before the yearbooks arrive in the spring, and those who do not
preorder a book risk the chance of not receiving a book or paying an additional fee. As a rule we
order very few extra books.
Last date to preorder is March 31, but we encourage you to order before this date.
*Please note: You are not able to order or pay for a yearbook at the time of registration and must
order online.*
Attention Senior Parents of 2012:
It is that time of year again; time to set up senior pictures. When setting up your appointments
please make sure to leave enough time to allow the pictures to be returned to you by December 22,
2011. This is the due date for the 2011-2012 Senior pictures, quotes, and baby ads.
Pictures should be of the graduate only, in color, a head and shoulders shot, wallet size, and in a
portrait layout (up and down). We prefer you use an indoor pose, and it cannot include props
(animals, sports equipment, band instruments, etc). If you are sending a digital photo it must be
300 dpi and in jpeg or tiff file format. You can email this information to crwashyearbook@gmail.com
Please in include a quote with your picture. It must be school appropriate, and if it is not original
please include the source of the quote. The maximum length is 90 characters long (including
spaces). Quotes that do not meet these requirements may be subject to modification or will not be
included.
Not having your picture professionally taken?
We are again offering an opportunity for those who may not normally be able to afford senior
pictures. Mrs. Schmelzer or a student photographer will take a picture to place in the yearbook for
free.
A CD of at least 2 of these head shots can be purchased for the extremely low price of $5. This CD
will give you the opportunity to print your own senior pictures to distribute to family and friends.
Several companies will develop these digital pictures for a reasonable price.
Baby Ads
Baby ads that are traditionally placed in the back of the book will be due to the staff at the same
time a senior picture, December 22nd. The price per ad is $45. Parents can mail, email, or upload
(to REPLAY IT) baby pictures they would like to include in the baby ad section. Along with the
pictures please include a short message telling your child how proud you are of their
accomplishments. If the picture is mailed to the staff and you would like it returned, please include
a self addressed stamped envelope.
The Yearbook would like your help. Upload your pictures to our website.
