LYNX Digital Photo Management System
The LYNX Digital Photo Management System for Construction is a computer software
application that enables a user to visually document a project using color digital cameras
and to share this visual information with other people. LYNX combines the color digital
camera with a secure high speed database and sophisticated file transfer functions that
allow visual information to be instantly shared with others via direct modem connection,
the Internet, or wide area network, and so on.
LYNX uses include documenting of job progress, inspection reports, litigation support,
safety compliance verification among others. The ability to share this type of visual
information results in quickly making more informed decisions by those involved in the
construction process. It also offers an indisputable visual record of everything that happens
on a day to day basis to supplement traditional written documentation.
