POSITION OPPORTUNITY AT MAC: The Mississauga Arts Council (MAC) is proud to announce it has received
the nod of approval from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) for its vision to reignite, inspire and build its youth
program and youth contingent of the council. The grant award will assist MAC in the creation of a new Youth
Program Coordinator position. The funding will enable MAC to offer a wide range of opportunities to youth in
Mississauga to explore and develop their artistic creativity and talents by hiring a youth coordinator to deliver the
Limelight program, a youth-driven initiative offering a wide range of activities. For the position description follow

Society of Canada invites you to explore the beauty of the night sky. Bring your own telescope or binoculars and

THE KENDALL HURLEY COLLECTION‟ IS AN AGGREGATE OF TWENTY ABSTRACT PAINTINGS. This

PETER ROWE'S NEW COMIC SHORT FILM "DANGEROUS WATERS", STARRING CHRIS POTTER, FILMED
ON THE CREDIT RIVER NORTH OF MISSISSAUGA, HAS BEEN SELECTED AS AN HONOURABLE
MENTION in the City of Mississauga's Celebrate the Square film competition. The competition attracted over 40
entries from around the world. The 13 winning films were produced as far afield as Bulgaria, England and British
Columbia. "Dangerous Waters" is one of two winning films that were made in Mississauga.The films will continue
to run for 17 hours a day indefinitely on the outdoor screens at Mississauga Celebration Square

HOUSE. Local musicians will be showcasing their talent every Friday evening at 7:30 pm throughout the month of
July & August! August 12th welcomes jazz vocalist Denise Leslie and the Age of Reason returns on August 19 th
with 60‘s and 70‘s classics. Admission is Pay-What-You-Can with a suggested donation of $5/single and

DRIFTWOOD THEATRE PRESENTS SHAKESPEARE UNDER THE STARS WITH A PERFORMANCE OF
