“The Rules to the Pool”:
1. $20.00 Entry Fee per team. Payment must be included with Entry Form List(s). 2 entries max per person.
2. Pick one (1) player from each of the Twenty (20) boxes on the official entry sheet.
3. Stats will be complied from all 2011-2012 National Hockey League (NHL) Regular season games only.
Tiebreaker for all prizes: The team with the greatest amount of total goals will be declared the winner.
4. Hockey pool points will be awarded as follows:
PLAYER POINTS: Goal – 1 point, Assist – 1 point GOALIE POINTS: Win – 2 points, Shutout – 3 points
***NO OTHER POINTS COUNT TOWARDS PLAYERS TOTAL (i.e. – SHOOTOUT GOALS)***
5. All teams and payment must be received in person or postmarked on or before Monday, October 10, 2011.
No entries will be accepted after this date.
6. Trades – Each Team is allowed one trade of up to 3 players. The new player must come from the same box
as the player he is being traded for. Trades must be made between November 15, 2011 and January 15, 2012.
No trades will be allowed after Jan. 15, 2012. Points accumulated by the original player will remain in your
teams’ total. The new player’s points will only begin to apply to your team’s total the day after the trade is
received.
Your new player’s points accumulated prior to the trade are not counted in your team’s totals. The Trade Form
will be sent via e-mail in late October. Trades can also be e-mailed to hockeypool@vianet.ca.
