Subject: Wood Finishes – Core Colors

Effective June 15, 2009, KI will offer a new core Wood Finishes program. The new offering consists of five finish colors on various wood
species. The new offering more clearly defines the subtle differences in color found when using different wood species. The program
includes the already existing Kensington Maple (except for finish codes starting with B), Monticello Maple and Cherry Storm finish colors
and introduces Cinnamon and Cocoa finish colors in response to market demand. Finish codes starting with Z are differentiated with
separate names due to the variety of wood species used. Please refer to the Color Addendum or E Spec to determine which products
are available in which finishes.
The new Wood Finishes card KI-32481 is available on the PKB and through the KI Literature Order System.
The core finish color samples will be available shortly to order through the KI Literature System.
The online color addendum, E Spec and ki.com will be updated with the new finish offerings.

There will also be two additional coordinating laminates for the two new finish colors: Windsor Mahogany laminate for Cinnamon finish
color and Cocobala laminate for Cocoa finish color.

Most previous wood finishes will continue to be offered for a limited time and will be referred to as Legacy finishes.
The following finishes (primarily used on wood casegoods) will be discontinued:
Z223 Biltmore Cherry on Cherry (migrate to Z204 Cinnamon on Cherry)
Z224 Cherry Storm on Cherry (migrate to Z203 English on Cherry)
Z225 Brighton Walnut on Walnut (migrate to Z214 Cocoa on Walnut)
Orders and quotations with Z223, Z224, or Z225 specified will be honored for 60 days.
