Project Manager – Entertainment Industry
Developed a Standardized Meet Opening checklist and process to prepare the racetrack for a meet opening or marquee
event (Kentucky Derby or Breeders Cup). The implementation lowered the effort required for all meets with CDI.
Managed Intranet upgrade, including new project, budget, purchasing tools and content development.
Managed an operational project developing policies for printing services and support, lowering the cost of printing by
31%, including 25% fewer printer counts for a savings of $100,000 a year.
Created a systemized policies and standards procedure for desktop and laptop PC replacements, asset reclamation
schedules, and monitoring replacement of the desktop environment.
Coordinated an effort to improve Electronic Gate Counts (turnstile counts). The implemented solution delivered a
variance of 0.58% on the 2nd largest Kentucky Derby attendance (157,700).
Managed the Exchange Migration, moving the Churchill Downs Incorporated and Racetracks to Exchange 2007 from
Exchange 2003. This project includes SAN integration, multiple exchange servers, standards and policy creation during
