Oracle Data Warehousing Manager
Provided instrumental advice and expert data warehousing skills to Sr. Director and Vice
President of Revenue Management in evaluating and selecting appropriate platform and
RDBMS for high-profile data warehousing project. Assisted in architecting first Revenue
Management Decision Support System. Developed and managed relationships with
outside vendors including Oracle, SAS, and Business Objects to coordinate the
evaluation of tools and champion the project with the various executive teams.

      Led first successful Oracle data warehousing project from requirements to full
       implementation using ERWIN in modeling Kimball star schema design
      Developed Discoverer and SAS reports for Manager of Pricing to accurately react
       to intra-day fare wars with Southwest and other competing carriers
      Led first successful Oracle data warehousing project at America West managing
       team of programmers and developers through entire lifecycle
      Worked with SABRE to ensure accurate cleansing of daily and monthly Advance
       Bookings and competitive fare data as defined in Service Level Agreement
      Assisted in training and mentoring of approximately 30 end users in developing
       both Discoverer and Business Objects enterprise reports
      Assisted in development of WebDB intranet site for CFO in championing the
       future development of web-based executive reporting
      Installed and administered Oracle Discoverer and Express Analyzer to develop
       exception reporting and DSS for executive management team
      Integrated SABRE advance bookings data with legacy scheduling database
      Led team of Oracle consultants in deploying MDDB using Oracle8i and Express
       Analyzer
