Client Description:
The Administrator of the application will be able to load student information (Name,
User Name, Password, Major, Minor, and Advisor) from Banner Web. This information
can be retrieved for one student or multiple students based on academic year.

Case
Brief Description This function loads student information into the application.
Actors Administrator, Banner Web
Basic Flow 1. Click “Load Students”. The Load Students window is displayed.
2. Select “Single Student” or “Students By Year”.
3. If single student is selected, enter the student’s id number.
4. If students by year is selected, select a year from the drop down box.
(Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate, All)
5. Click Load.
Alternate Flows o If Banner Web is not available a message will be displayed and the user
will be returned to the previous window. (This assumes that all Student
information will be retrieved from Banner)
o If the Administrator clicks Cancel before Load they will be returned to
the previous window without loading any information.
o If single student is selected, then the id number field is required. If
Load is selected without both fields being selected a message will be
given to the user.
o If students by year is selected the year box is required. If Load is
selected without both fields being selected a message will be given to
the user.
Pre-conditions The administrator must be logged on.
Post-conditions The student information is saved.
