BLOG & WIKI WALKTHROUGH
Essential difference between blogs & wikis
A Blog is essentially one long page that scrolls downward. Kind of like a long one page
diary. Blogs may have many members, but an organiser decides the overall tone.
A Wiki is a basic website. It has multiple pages linked together. Usually anything can be
changed by any member, usually after some discussion. In this sense it is a website where
the content is designed by the users, rather than the owner/organiser.
Examples of use
Blog
Diary, Reflective writing, Book reviews, News page.
Wiki
Group work, Online lesson/assignment guide, Homework dropbox, Online peer review of
work, Brainstorming site, Links page, Discussion site, External file storage, more.
