Source Code Instructions



The source code indicates the source of data in each field of the ICCR database. To interpret the source code:



1. Select the appropriate table. A table is provided for both the V1 and V2 source code.

The V1 source code is needed only if the V2 code indicates that the source of the data is ICCR V1 (source code E). In

this case, the V1 source code will provide additional information regarding the source of the data.



2. On the appropriate table, locate the name of the ICCR database table and the field you are interested in.



3. The number in the column heading indicates the position of the letter in the source code that corresponds to the field

of interest.



4. Use the keys provided below to determine the source of the data according to the source code letter.



KEY for V2 Source Code

A = AIRS, carried over from V1

B = Data from state database within 5% of ICCRV1, state data used

D = Greater than 5% difference between state database and ICCRV1,state data used

E = EPA; ICCR V1 data field chosen over state data, see source code for V1 for original source

M = Indicates matching data in ICCRV1 and state database

N = No data

O = OTAG, carried over from V1

S = State database

W = ICWI / OSWI database

X = Unknown, assigned by ERG or Alpha-Gamma



Exceptions to these codes are noted below:



In the INVENTORY table, D in the Combustor Description position indicates that EPA and State were different, both

were included.



In the GENERAL FACILITY table, G in the ICCR Facility ID position indicates a match with ICWI/OSWI and EPA; H

indicates a match with ICWI/OSWI and State; T indicates a match with EPA, State and ICWI/OSWI.



In The GENERAL FACILITY table, if ICCR Facility ID has a T, G or H; D in the Plant Description position indicates

that State & EPA had different descriptions, and both were chosen.





KEY for V1 Source Code

A = AIRS

B = Data in AIRS and OTAG within 5%; OTAG data used

D = Greater than 5% difference between AIRS and OTAG data, OTAG data used

M = Indicates matching data in AIRS & OTAG

O = OTAG

N = No data

X = Unknown, assigned by ERG or Alpha-Gamma

EXAMPLE

In ICCRV2, if the source code for an entry in the Inventory table is "MMSSENNNNSNN":

For ICCR Facility ID and Combustor ID (source code M), state data received matched data in ICCRV1.

For Capacity and Capacity Units (source code S), data from the state database were used.

For Hours of Operation (source code E), data from ICCRV1 were used.

For Primary Vendor, Year Built, Permitted Operating Level, and Control Regulation (source code N), no data are

available.

For Combustion Description (source code S), data from the state database were used.

For Burner Model and Last Update (source code N), no data are available.
