Create a blog of your own! GO to wordpress.com or www.blogger.com (run by Google,
but beware spam!) or www.livejournal.com (university students like this one)
1. Sign up for a FREE account.
2. Choose a template.
3. Edit your profile and preferences.
How to comment on D.R. Scott Library page:
Click Add comment underneath selected post. In the dialogue box, add your name (first
name only or a nickname - students should NEVER identify themselves on the web).
You must include an email (this will always be hidden). Ignore “URL”. Type your
comment in the box and click “Submit”. (Inappropriate language or comments will be
deleted. All comments are moderated by the administrator of this blog, so you may not
see your comment for a few hours.)
How to search D.R. Scott Library:
If you click a category, you’ll retrieve all of the posts in that category.
How to search other blogs:
There are now many engines that do keyword searching of blog content on the web.
Here are a few:
Google Blog Search
Ice Rocket
Technorati (search by keyword or by subject in Blog Finder)
Daypop (news focused)
Blogarama (a subject directory)
