                       REFRESHINGLY PRACTICAL

I have just completed the first year of the MIT and found the program
refreshingly practical and relevant to industry. I particularly benefited
from the Enterprise Java and Advanced Web Development subjects
which will have great relevance to my work in Sri Lanka when I return.
The Swinburne academic staff have been helpful and approachable
and the University facilities are conducive for study, particularly the

A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT

The MA in Counselling Psychology at Swinburne provided me with a wide array of skills and knowledge
as it elegantly combined theories, research and practical skills. I have just been accepted to the PhD
program in Psychology and am all the more delighted to extend my stay at Swinburne. I was attracted
by Swinburne’s welcoming environment. It provides a lot of interaction between students and lecturers,
whereby students are made to feel that they are important contributors to the University. This warm and
friendly environment is all the more conducive to serious and productive work.
